According to the production requests of different acrylic display stands, the manufacturer will select different processing processes. As for some complex structure custom acrylic display stands, there are more processes. Therefore, the author would like to summarize the main production processes of acrylic stands in this article.

1) Acrylic material cutting;

Normally, acrylic sheets are cut with acrylic cutting machines. The required size of the custom acrylic display stands should very accurate so as to save material.

2) Acrylic material processing technology — engraving;

After cutting the acrylic material, we will engrave the acrylic board according to the shape requirements of the custom acrylic display stands. Normally, the display stand manufacturer will engrave the acrylic board into different shapes according to the acrylic product design drawing the customer gives.

3) Acrylic products processing and production technology — polishing;

The edge of the acrylic board after cutting and engraving process is quite rough. Thus requires polishing process to make the edge of the cut surface more smooth.

4) Custom acrylic display stands processing technology – silk-screen;

Generally, the customer will require us to print their own brand LOGO or advertising slogan on the acrylic stands. Therefore, we will use the silk-screen technology. The silk screen technology  has two types: monochrome silk screen printing and four-color screen printing.

5) Acrylic products processing technology – bending;

The custom acrylic display stands can be processed into various shapes by bending technology. We can place the bent part on the heating wire; heat this area soft. Then quickly place it on the mould, shaping and molding it to the shape/structure we need before the acrylic get cool. If it is a thick acrylic board, we need to cut a groove and then bend it, otherwise there is problems such as deformation of the bending area and excessive bending angle.

6) Acrylic display stands processing technology – bonding;

Bonding is a very important part during the processing of acrylic products. How to show the clear and transparent characteristics of acrylic, reflect the value of acrylic crafts, maximize the grade and taste of acrylic products, bonding methods plays a decisive role. If the bonding technology is not good, there will be white flow at the joint point, which will largely influence the overall visual effects of the custom acrylic display stands.
